Lovely site, well maintained grass and yard.
Lots of parking and is pet friendly as well.
You can see the cannons, and hills surrounding its Fort from every angle. During the summer there is often many cafes open, and restaurants in the quaint little town of Annapolis Royal. -

(October 5, 2023, 6:41 pm)Great historical site. The museum has a lot of historical information, but probably too much reading for most people. Beautiful scenery from all points and extremely well maintained. Loved it!!

(August 6, 2023, 12:05 am)Interesting and beautiful place to walk around. The little museum is also very informative, learnt a lot about the history of Fort Anne, and the Natives, the French and the British.

(August 4, 2023, 10:30 pm)Fort Anne was amazing. Easily visited in an hour to two depending on how much you want to read. It had beautiful views and you can really envision how it was used hundreds of years ago. There were activities for kids. Very affordable. Kids are free and 5$ for adults. Located in a very touristic part of Annapolis Royal. You can park and walk to tourist shops and restaurants from the site.
