(November 22, 2023, 10:32 pm)The Fort Anne is a rustic gem that I wasn't even sure I wanted to try. I'm glad I did go in, as the folks were great and the burger was great. Well worth the stop in Annapolis Royal.

(September 25, 2023, 7:08 am)We had a great dining experience here recently. We both had the haddock burger with sweet potato fries. The haddock was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Highly recommended! Sorry, no photo today.

*Excellent* beef in hamburger (beef and bacon cubes from local supplier).
Plates go out fast, operational kitchen. Standard menu for that kind of place.
The interior could be better organized and look better, to match the quality of the food and service. -

(November 29, 2022, 10:25 pm)Lovely food. Excellent, friendly service. Great food. I tried the Aloha burger with pineapple and ham. I skipped the banana peppers. It was delicious and such a new flavour for a burger! David had the special burger of the day, also great. Tetley tea, which is good. Important to me the brand of tea Coffee was very nice as well. Love the ambiance! The Christmas decorations were lovely. Pretty simple looking from the outside but a great experience overall. If we lived here, we would return again and again. Our kind of place!
