  There is nowhere better to stay in St John's if you appreciate modern spacious rooms designed to capture the cultural heritage of the past, picturesque settings, amazing food, fantastic hospitality, and access to kilometres of coastal hiking trail right from your front door. The Inn made our trip! Thanks Steve et al.

  Beautiful Inn and rooms. Our room was massive with a king size bed, sitting area, fridge, ensuite with walk in shower- everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of plugs and USB ports! Cool counters that provide lots of space for all your stuff. Complimentary wine and snacks in our room along with Quidi Vidi beer and pops in our fridge. Also a lounge stocked with complimentary beverages and alcohol- like the Fairmont Gold lounge but free! Service was great! Very friendly and willing to assist in any way. I am very happy I picked this place to celebrate my birthday. We hope to come back again. Oh, and the Mallard Cottage restaurant was great too. Super nice staff there as well. Make a reservation if you want to dine here.

  This is a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend eating at Mallard Cottage, which is less than a minute walk from the inn. The staff at the inn were friendly and very informative. The rooms are simple yet beautiful, and the bed is massive and extremely comfortable. To top it all off, the rooms come with complementary beer, wine and snacks!

The Inn by Mallard Cottage is comprised of two houses containing 7 King Suites and one common area/meeting room. All of our 435 square foot rooms are appointed with one king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom.
