The owner greeted us at the door and shared her extensive experience in the knitting/spinning/weaving genre. How wonderful to be enlightened with how much work goes into such an art. Great day and worth taking a trip out with your friends.

(March 25, 2014, 2:05 pm)I have not been to the farm but my sisters visited and enjoyed their time. One of them gifted me with a pair of socks made on site, and all I can say, is, I wish I had a dresser full of these. They are so soft and the fine yarn makes them suitable for wearing with casual shoes. As I no longer live in the province I am quick to inform anyone planning a visit to the island that they need to go and purchase a pair of; what I call them; "dream socks".
