(March 5, 2019, 9:56 pm)We did get to see lots of birds and did see two humpbacks. Unfortunately no tail shots or breeching on this day but was still a great experience. The shuttle service came right to Pippy park to pick us up and drop us off. The little gift shop was PACKED and very dissorganized. Would be better if there was definite lineups for each cash register. Was a bit confusing where to go. But overall a great tour

(January 28, 2019, 11:26 pm)I didn't see any whales despite it being high season in August, so don't count on it (although others have different experiences) but it was a lovely boat ride nonetheless and the hosts are great. Dress warm.

(December 22, 2018, 2:39 pm)Great tour, hilarious jokes and very dedicated to spotting whales for the crowd. But if you experience motion sickness... Prepare ahead of time with some medication; this will knock you right out!

My husband and I had a great experience on the boat tour (approximately 2 weeks ago), we both saw a whale for the first time, very exciting but the puffin’s where definitely the highlight of our day!!! Not too mention the 4 eagles we saw, spectacular! The crew were amazing, friendly and very informative… hats off to them. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

(August 14, 2018, 3:07 pm)Our boat tour was in the morning on a beautiful sunny day. Our tour guide was very friendly and cracked lots of jokes as well as singing us some great Newfoundland songs. We just had such a wonderful time as we were able to see a huge amount of puffins flying overhead and on the rocky cliffs along with a variety of other seabirds.
My highlight had to be seeing two types of whale (minke and humpback). It was so special as the humpback mum and calf followed our boat, swimming underneath and around it. It really took my breath away. O'Brien's were respectful of the whales and got close but not too close.
