(July 24, 2019, 7:59 pm)Great place for lunch, glad we came across it. Reading all the reviews it seems that Hoovers is locally owned and operated #eatlocal. Went with their 4oz steakhouse burger, they offer an 8oz, but the 4oz was plenty. Fresh mushrooms, steak-sauce, cheese, and wonderful homemade onion rings. The order of sweet potato fries was huge so order accordingly. Save room for dessert, that's code for fresh, wonderful ice cream.

(June 29, 2019, 4:19 am)Great ice cream! Also had a Philly Cheeseburger and it was fabulous. Had our dogs with us and were able to eat our food at a picnic table on the porch.

(May 26, 2019, 2:22 am)Wish I lived nearby to enjoy Hoover's more often. "Wholesome" describes the positive rural community atmosphere and the conspicuous industry of the young workers. Chocolate milk shakes were awesome.
