(January 5, 2019, 5:01 am)Joe is a legend in WNY reefkeeping. The shop is a bit rough around the edges at times as he runs it basically alone, yet he manages to have probably the 2nd largest selection of coral in WNY. He is also EXTREMELY reasonable with pricing.

Annette will ask you the second you walk in what it is you want to buy, but any pressure aside you’re guaranteed a great browsing experience. I have never once been lead astray, explained the situations of my tank and been sold something I couldn’t have in it, or been pressure into any kind of upwelling. To top that, anything I wasn’t familiar with I could ask and was passed the knowledge that would make it work out the best. This shop is absolutely great and the owners very knowledgeable and fair people. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to get into the marine aquarium hobby. It’s clean, well kept, and always well stocked with a very knowledgeable staff. Absolutely a place you must go if you like saltwater fish or corals.
