(August 19, 2017, 7:50 pm)I began seeing Dr. penn due to plantar fasciitis. I had been dealing with it for over 6 months and it was causing me a lot of pain throughout the day. I had exhausted all other avenues...anti-inflammatories, orthotics and physical therapy....nothing made much of a difference. Dr. Penn advised me that Extra corpeal shock wave therapy had good results for people like myself. Although my insurance did not cover the treatment, I agreed to receive the 3 treatments that were each a week a part along with wearing a splint for 2 hours per day (which made it feel much better). Now, after 3 months I am almost 100% better. I am so relieved and so appreciative of Dr. Penn's plan for me. I highly recommend this doctor, especially if you are struggling with plantar fasciitis.
