(July 23, 2019, 5:33 pm)I just switched from Highgate Medical where I had been a patient for the better part of 22 years. I switched because of some specific issues for the past 3 years, went in for several appointments with different PAs, and they weren't "hearing" me.
My OB/GYN recommended Dr. Kremer, (at my request when telling her I wanted to switch PCP). I went in and saw Dawn Dolan, PA - - and loved her! She *listened* to what I was saying and then actually left to get some paperwork, came back in, administered a few questionnaires and we went from there. Prescribed a different type of med and I'm noticing a marked, pleasant difference, as is my family.
So far, 100% pleased!
Regarding the post from the woman who states the receptionist spoke about your concern/issue/ailment very loudly: take it up with her DIRECTLY.
HIPAA laws were put in place to help people maintain not only their privacy, but dignity as well. If she did that to you, she's done it to others. I would have gotten up, gone over to her and informed her that she just violated HIPAA laws and you didn't appreciate it. Sometimes bringing it to a person's attention is the best course of action. Posting it on-line won't change or effect what happened. My $02 -
