Casa Capitano

Very clean and beautiful upscale Italian restaurant. Staff was curteous, prompt and knowledgeable of the menu. Owners was super friendly. The food was fantastic from appetizers to the desserts.
Was very satisfied and will be returning.

A truly fine Italian restaurant! The menu offers a large choice of dishes in a wide price range. All the pasta is made right on the premises as are many other food items. The management and several members of the wait staff come from Italy and all wear shipboard insignia. Extensive bar. Very pleasant ambiance. Great place to bring family and friends.

A lovely ambiance with a mariner/aviation theme, the wait staff are dressed as ship and plane pilots and service is efficient and courteous. There is a nice variety of entrees and apetizers on the menu along with a fairly good wine menu. Visited this restaurant last year, and I believe they have improved on service and on their menu. Will definitely go back.

My mother came up from Tennessee to visit and we decided to get some food here. The beer choices were great, and the freshly baked bread was both crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The main courses were honestly incredible. My mother got a seafood Alfredo, and I got chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. You can really tell how fresh the ingredients are, because when you eat here, it doesn’t taste like you’re going out to a restaurant. It tastes like you have an Italian grandmother who made a classic, yet special dinner for you. The service was great as well. Our server was friendly, had a humorous side, yet was also very professional. It has the most class out of anywhere around. I’m ordering a pizza tomorrow, I have to try one from that beautiful oven.

We went to Casa Capitano this evening for the first time and we had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious, the ambiance warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and impeccable. We fell in love with the place, and urge anyone reading to visit Casa Capitano in Rouses Point. You won’t regret it, and we must keep this wonderful establishment open. It’s a gem!
