Terry offered to come out and fix my roof for me at a time where I could not afford it. He was very friendly and quick and my roof looks amazing. Amazing act of kindness! I will be calling him again when I need my roof done for sure.

Our last roof was of fibreglass shingles. We were told at the time that was the only type of shingles we could get. From the very beginning we had trouble with those shingles. The last straw was when 60 square ft were blown off during Hurricane Dorian on September 8, 2019. Even though our fibreglass shingles were only around 10 years old, we were told our roof should be replaced next season.

I had suggested to Dad at the time we could only put the fibreglass shingles on that we get a steel roof instead, but when Dad looked into the cost of a steel roof he felt it was too costly and we had always had had no problems in the past with asphalt shingles.

After Hurricane Dorian, Dad once again looked into getting a steel roof. We got an estimate from what we thought was a reputable company. However, when the company owner came to show us a sample of what would go on the roof, he told us the quote would not cover the 25% wastage cost. We had never heard of such a thing.

To make a long story short a friend told us her friend, who we also knew, had a great roof guy whose name was Terry Geddes and as of February 1, 2020 we now have a steel roof on our home. It is our fourth roof since we have owned our home. It has a guarantee of 5 years for the labour and 40 years for the steel.

We really wish we had known Terry, Jennifer and their hard working crew 10 years ago. I wish I could make up a new word that could fully describe their work ethics and honesty.

This company, from the first phone call onward was an awesome experience. Terry and Jennifer’s crew is a well oiled machine. Extremely knowledgeable very helpful with me ( I don’t know a thing about roofs and as a home owner this is the first roof I’ve had replaced- it can be intimidating).
They arrive promptly at 8 am which they said they would. Within minutes, shingles were coming off the roof. By the end of the day, my house was gorgeous and my yard looked amazing!!! This crew worked hard. From the minute they came on site till the minute they left. In fact that evening when I tried to give terry the cheque, he was more concerned with getting the remainder of the nails up from the driveway and yard before losing the light; clearly showcasing his company’s high standard and professional commitment to the job extremely well done. Throughout the entire day the crews moral was high. Everyone was absolutely great.

We were selling our property and roof needed to be redone before our closing date. We contacted Terry and asked if he’d be able to get it completed with less than 1 weeks notice. His reply was, “let me know when you need it done by and it will be done, simple as that”.

Him and his crew were there at 8 am the day before our closing date, and they were done by 2 pm with the invoice in my inbox by 2:30 pm.

I went to the property to finish cleaning up and cutting the lawn and everything was completed above and beyond our expectations! Roof was perfect, yard was clean, I didn’t even find a single nail on the ground!
