(August 9, 2023, 3:51 am)Great food, atmosphere and service! We came in for early dinner and there was just us at the beginning, soon got crowded with guests. A popular place in town! The food was good, large portion and tasty. Decor was theme with cars and Route 66. Friendly service and great value.

We were delighted by the service we received, and the food was absolutely refreshing, well portioned, fresh and unique. They offer a great blend of options. Beet sauce was delicious. Feta chapati was incredible.

(September 13, 2022, 12:16 am)I love this place! It’s a perfect sized Americana influenced diner with great food and awesome staff.
The sign on the door noted that they were looking to hire wait staff. Our waitress was talking with locals about how short staffed they had been - especially when it was busy in the summer — I say this because despite it all, our waitress was super friendly and served us with a big smile! We definitely did not feel like tourists 🥰
Like you’d expect from a diner - the coffee was awesome!!!
Our food came quickly but yet we didn’t feel rushed.
Restaurant Route 66 is a great place to eat breakfast in Shediac - it was super convenient for us as it was a few minutes from our campground. -

(August 7, 2022, 11:10 am)BEST FISH AND CHIPS ON THE EAST COAST!! Or anywhere for that matter! Nice thin batter with seasoning in it! Absolutely delicious!! So happy we ate here. Vintage looking diner with great oldies music. Every bite of food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I really appreciate the in house made tartar sauce, too many places give out packets. Hostess was friendly and quick service. This is my new go-to spot when I'm in town. The only thing missing is a big bike out front for display. Thank you!

(March 4, 2022, 11:51 pm)We won a gift card to Route 66 and we are so thankful that we did because we would've never discovered how amazing this place is! My husband ordered the cheeseburger combo, I had the chicken chapati combo, and then we shared a donair wrap. We had no complains whatsoever.
From the amazing staff, absolutely delicious food, and the fun ambiance, it was simply perfect. Their food tasted so fresh, it was great! We can't wait to come back!
