(July 31, 2019, 2:15 am)Beautiful, old growth pine forest on quiet 2km long island. Abundance of birds, well signed trails, picnic area, outhouses. Fascinating history. Relaxing, magical place. Access by ferry, or your own boat, canoe, or kayak. Day use only. No fires or camping permitted.

You can hike the many trails on the island and hop on a canoe with guides or get a guided tour and learn about the rich history of the island and surrounding areas. It's a must visit if you're into history or any type of physical activity!
