Went to see monster spectacular with my boys today. This was our first time inside the Avenir Center and it was an awesome experience. Security, ticket scanner, ushers, drink kiosk workers and merchandise sellers were all super friendly and helpful. Great venue! Heading back there on the 30th for a comedy show with the wife and can't wait!

The Avenir center has its ups and downs. Beautiful spot. Lots of food counters. There are also lots of bathrooms.
Also there is not a bad seat in the house. I saw Kevin Hart, and Megadeth. Both shows were absolutely fantastic.
The only thing is the seats themselves. They are a little uncomfortable. My back was bugging me for a couple days after. I'd recommend bringing a cushion. I really wish I would have. Lol

Beautiful venue for watching an event. My lovely wife Pat and I were fortunate to have been able to attend the Stars on Ice event that will be forevermore known as Kurt Browning's 2023 farewell tour.
Ticket handling, through Ticket Master, was a different issue but does not relate to this nights venue experience.
Parking was not an issue. We were here at 5:30 pm for the 7pm start. No parking places were to be found along the street (all taken), but within the block, there were plenty of parking spaces in the available parking lot. Tonight's parking cost us $10.
Once obtaining our back pass tickets (could only be picked up at this venue during the night of event) we went back up to line up at the outside doors.
Dressed for the chilly night, we had no problem standing in the open area. Would be nice to see the managers of this place to put in a covering to protect customers against rain and snow.
Doors were promptly opened at 6:30 pm. Ushered in the building, Pat and I made our way to the escalators and enjoyed the view as we were transported up the many steps. We noticed a few making the climb manually. Made for efficient entry. It should be noted that elevators were available for those needing one.
On our way to seating, we stopped for our dinner. I partook in a hotdog while Pat grabbed a pizza slice. Efficient pricing and handling. Nothing special, worth the price.
Finding our seats was not a problem. Everything clearly marked. Bathrooms were spacious, clean and, in the men's case, available.
During intermission, the woman's had quite a long line-up. I'd noticed the audience consisted of females to males of about 5:1, not that I minded.
Our seating allowed for perfect viewing. Sound carried well. Knowing ahead of time about the hard surface of stadium seating, we brought some padding for cushioned comfort. No regrets and recommend others do the same in future, should they desire.
We'd bought a backstage pass, and since Pat won the toss, she had the privilege of meeting this nights stars on ice.
It was well organized. Ice celebrities were seated at one long table while patrons went by single file for their meet and greet.
Pat enjoyed the banter and was privileged to obtain each of their autographs on the "official" tour program AND on various personal items. Pat brought the 4 bills I'd made up special representing each of the 4 main skaters. I was only sorry I hadn't completed one for each, but I know they are young, and I'll have the chance in the future.
Only bad comment, and it's relatively minor, it would have been more glamorous to have had better seating, tables and flooring for the celebrity meeting area. Looked a little like the basement area of a house rather than a glorious reception area.
