(November 23, 2023, 1:15 am)I had a wonderful experience. Well kept clean home. Great location. Access to the beach on the river and nice walking trails. Loved my time there. I will go back for another visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun filled vacation.

(October 18, 2023, 5:33 pm)Really well appointed interior with great functionality to accommodate a large group/family. Lot's of light and large windows. Large nice screened porch. Meticulously clean with comfortable beds. Great access to river with available regular and tandem kayaks. Very close to the national park by car or kayak.

(October 18, 2023, 5:21 pm)I had an absolutely wonderful time staying for a weekend at The Old Potter Homestead. As a writer and nature enthusiast it was a perfect getaway from the city. The home is warm, welcoming, and maintains its classic “homestead” feeling while also having a modern touch. A perfect balance! Favourite part was the fireplace, screened porch, and the forest path down to the kayaks on the river.

(June 26, 2023, 3:23 pm)Such a beautiful place!! 2 families of 4 joined together for a weekend of relaxing and recharging. Angela was a dream of a host and thought of everything. The homestead is a true home away from home. The kayaks were a very welcome addition. We absolutely loved the river. (Bring bug spray for the walk down, but it's absolutely worth the 10 minute walk through the beautiful woods). None of us wanted to leave, and we can't wait to go back!

The cottage was extremely clean and pristine. Washer works really well too
Super comfy bed that was so hard to get out of.
There is a lovely walk down to the river where you can enjoy a bevie
