Always visit this spot a couple of times a year. Just to get out of town and go for a drive. It's nice to sit and watch the river come and go or to walk the grounds and look at all the history.

This is a beautiful hidden gem a little off the beaten path. The church is beautiful and the views are spectacular. There are several plaques describing the history of the land and the church. The church appears to put on musical events on Monday nights, but I was told that most times you can't enter the building itself. There is a small graveyard for a local First Nation reserve on site. I would definitely check this place out, even if it's just for a pit stop to have a quick lunch on the picnic tables.

The band Shades of Time were playing Monday evening as part of a summer long music festival, and they were great!! Loved the Beaumont!
