(July 31, 2018, 4:35 pm)Little park that needs LOTS of improvements.
They have an ADA accessible kayak launch on the Black River but the trail is so steep that it's hard enough for an able-bodied person to get there, let alone someone in a wheelchair. (Shouldn't you have made the trail accessible BEFORE putting in the launch...?) Other trails are also super steep or just dead end. They have a good-sized pavilion that needs a lot of updating and removal of critters (wasps) before anyone would be able to use it. Handful of over-grown fire pits. Lights along trails are smashed out (one even has a decent sized bees nest). Could be a great park but needs a good helping of TLC. -

(August 28, 2017, 3:45 pm)Very beautiful woodsy trails. I do wish the trails were better kept up and more extensive, would be a good place for hiking. Some of them are very steep and overgrown. Not stroller friendly

(July 9, 2017, 2:45 am)Oh my gosh putting a new kayak launch in here. I'm so excited. I live right down the road and will he buying kayaks next year. So looking fwd to using this launch. In the mean time I'm going to go check out this park and hike the area. What fun. Thank you St. Clair county for all you are doing for us.
