(December 15, 2020, 1:13 am)Like many people who send their relatives to care homes I didn't feel I had much of a choice. Especially after two months in the hospital in the middle of a pandemic. But I am so pleased with this place I'm tearing up. And it's the staff !!!

But more the instructions/information provided after he passed away on which doctor had to fill in his proof of death form for insurance purposes. 3 weeks later they got to the correct doctor. It was added stress and confusion we didn't need.

(November 11, 2018, 7:28 pm)Mom was there for a year and we were very impressed by the level of care and compassion she received by all of the staff, especially on unit 2. Due to driving distance it had not been our first choice for Mom but it certainly turned out to be the best choice. The building is clean and well maintained, everything is on one level, parking is easy, the gardens are lovely, the food is fresh, the activities staff is wonderful, and there is an on-site hairdresser there twice a week. Mom said that they spoiled her and that's the best compliment of all!

(May 20, 2018, 4:42 pm)My mom was there for only a short time before she passed away. I was there everyday and witnessed first hand the excellent care that she was given by all of the staff. The meals were freshly made as there is an onsite kitchen. As in any health care situation family support is critical. My only complaint is the lack of on onsite doctor leaves the staff having to chase a doctor for medical prescriptions. This may cause the resident unnecessary pain while they wait.
