(September 9, 2022, 3:16 am)Great cocktails and small plates! This is one of my go to spots for a light, fun, flavourful meal that I know will never disappoint. Perfect for date night, cocktails with friends, or a picnic in the park! Lots of great vegan/vegetarian options plus the olives and the steam buns are way too good, I’d eat them every day if I could!

Unfortunately the patio was too busy so we couldn't get out there but our inside table was perfect. The cocktails were incredible. And we had the beef tartare (amazing), a pulled pork bun and a big Mac bun (literally insane). Such a great spot!

(July 24, 2022, 8:33 pm)The Roost is a cozy cocktail bar that is inventive with their libations. Tired of the same ole G’n’T? Me too! The patio is small but allows for a quiet intimate setting above busy Corydon Ave. Small plates/tapas are what’s on the menu. You go here for the vibe and an inventive cocktail you wouldn’t make at home. Small beer selection for the beer lovers but again COCKTAILS. Highly recommend.

(May 9, 2022, 10:25 pm)A very small restaurant serving small delicious plates/tapas with a great selection of specialty cocktails. The outdoor patio would be awesome on a warm evening. Only down fall of this location is is is not handicap accessible.

(January 22, 2022, 1:53 am)This is one of our favourite spots in Winnipeg for either an afternoon or evening cocktail. In covid times, we did take-out dinner for 2. The steamed buns (chicken and Tofu) were delicious, well seasoned, and expertly balanced in flavor. We had Cauliflower and lentils, as well as braised beef short rib -- both were fantastic! Would highly recommend!
