I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work here summer of 2021, as well as substitute for shifts throughout the year. Working with Marg (the owner) and Breanne (the supervisor) was always enjoyable, as well as the rest of the staff, super friendly. I looked forward to coming to work every day, it was a very positive environment. It’s evident staff here at NKLT truly care about the children and do their best to ensure a happy, safe environment. Nothing but good to say about this child care center!!
Our son has been going to North Kildonan Little Thinkers in Burnett a month after we arrived here in Winnipeg and he’s been with them for 5 months now. The teachers are so caring and they do so many activities with the kids. All the staff are amazing!
We also get a feedback on what he does during the day, his milestones, etc. Our son loves going NKLT and it's never a struggle bringing him there. We absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome daycare!
The director is professional and very on point. She seemed concentrated and made sure the day was structured but more important she concentrates more on the children's safety than anything else. I don't see why the daycare is getting bad reviews.
The staff is friendly and the kids seem to love it there. I've been to many daycares and this is my favourite, just because it is a structured daycare. There is nothing better for a child than having a fun, structured and learning day and go home after to enjoy the time with it's parents.
I wish that the daycare keeps up the good work and wish well to the employees (incl. the director), children and the parents.
