Of course their butter tarts are the best to be had best to be had but they also have much more to offer. I've tried a variety of baked goods from sweet to savoury and have yet to have a poor experience.
Recommend the quiche for something savoury. Or one of their specialty loaves of bread.
For sweet #1 butter tart. Or try one of their delicious cinnamon buns, bonus points for serving it warm. -

(December 7, 2022, 2:01 pm)If you like butter tarts, GO HERE! This is such a cute little shop. Their butter tarts are, by far, the best I've ever had! The gourmet pecan raisin are so delicious. The crust is nice and flakey and the filling is generous and rich. They have many different flavors to choose from (skor, white chocolate, etc.) They also carry many other bakery items, both sweet & savory. I would recommend checking their shop out if you're in the area. They had cupcakes, soup, mini pizzas, cakes, pies, etc. You will definitely find a few gems in there! Oh their staff is also VERY friendly so it was a very nice experience buying from them.

(October 4, 2022, 2:27 pm)The butter tarts are moist and perfectly sweet. The cinnamon buns and cookies were a no-go for me. The cinnamon buns were way to dry and the cookies were hard. La Belle Baguette will be missed, but will go again just for the tarts and nothing else.

(August 13, 2022, 12:39 pm)Some of the best butter tarts I’ve ever had. I am so glad to have this establishment in St.James. The owner was so kind, generous, and wonderful, and gave me a tour of the bakery the first time I went there. I got the pecan butter tarts, the white chocolate- coconut butter tarts which were devoured within a couple of days. We also ordered their apple crisp pie which was a smashing success. I will definitely try the other pies on my next visit. The cinnamon buns are fantastic as well! Do yourself a favour and visit this store! I think it’s a gem in the St James neighbourhood.
