Portage La Prairie is a little too far away. Always been a city girl. After living in Portage la Prairie for 3 years...I am almost a country girl. :)

(November 22, 2018, 11:35 pm)As a young boy I used to drive here with my dad to meet my mom, (they divorced a Long, long time ago) and whenever I see this monument it reminds me of that.. I stopped in one time this summer as I was passing by on my bike. The monument has an interesting backstory.. also it has an area you can sit and have a picnic if you wish.. nice little spot.
