Lovely campground situated near the lake and a quaint beach. Be aware that Highway #1 can be heard day and night, which might be bothersome to some. Given its popularity, the area can get quite crowded, especially the beaches. There's significant boat traffic on the lake, so exercise caution. It's quieter during weekdays, which might be the best time to visit. All essential amenities are available. Though we stayed in a camper and didn't utilize many of them, the ones we did use were fully functional. Nearby, there are eateries and a well-equipped hardware store, handy for camper repairs. We also enjoyed the local beer from the brewery and their delicious dry ribs. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Stayed during Canada day long weekend. Bathroom's and showers need some work. Many sites had more people, tents, vehicles than allowed. Great Pizza at Scotty's, Gondolas, Excellent Cinnamon buns at the Bakery and a good IPA at Whiteshell brewpub.

Wonderful place to camp. There is a local grocery store, restaurant, bakery, gas station, and 2 beautiful little shops for souvenirs and fun toys for the kiddos. Mini golf is super fun and reasonably priced. Washrooms and showers are well kept. Nice wee little park down by the beach as well as a place to rent items such as life jackets, etc. The beach is great for small children as the water isn't deep. Beware, there are leeches. Went down the road to West Hawk Lake to swim which is also great for the young kids to swim. The only good offshore fishing place I've found was a few km down the road passed Barren Lake (pictures on dock). I was told by a local that there are catfish and perch there. If you walk down the trail, there is a dock on rocks you can also fish off of. Bay 1 lot 8 has a little lake view 😉 (as seen in the first picture) as well as a little trail.

This camp is next to Highway 1, close to the lake, the sunset is particularly beautiful, you can swim in summer🏊‍♀️, fish in the lake🎣, and the camp charges are reasonable. But there are many mosquitoes at night, so be prepared to prevent mosquitoes. The facilities inside are a bit outdated, the door of the bathroom can't be closed, and the hot shower is very good

Great Campground. I was docked at Bay 3. Really convenient camping ground when compared to other locations. There is a shell nearby so one can get constant supply of firewood and even an access to a convenience store. We'll though it's like a coin some might not like it. I also like the availability of network on the site. Just have fun eating marshmallows having bonfire and then just chilling in the warm fire. This is a perfect summer time place. Though beware there are deer and bear 🐻 so keep the food enclosed and if garbage away from the campsite and no major noise after 11 pm just like houses. Other than that perfect.
