(August 17, 2020, 2:10 am)I visited the East Quarry on August 16, 2020 and have been here many times before.
It’s located just off Highway 8 before you reach the campground and harbour on the right hand side. There is a small parking area and outhouses.
The quarry itself has a rocky beach and lots of jagged rocky limestone cliffs on the shoreline of the lake. These were fun to climb on and explore! I ended up seeing a garter snake here. There are more cliffs further along the beach. They make for great photos as well!
