  Favourite Manitoba Drive In with a scenic drive up Henderson or through Lockport if coming from the Main side. Love the classic drive in decor and art. Delicious burgers, chicken burgers, and fries. You have to try the Works, Fries topped with Spicy Chili, chives, bacon, cheese, and sour cream! Nice treat and drive to make every few months!

  HALF MOON is a great diner full of nostalgia. The food is pretty good as well. Menu is mainly hamburgers, hot dogs and fries. They also have a wide assortment of ice cream which is great. Half moon will transport you back to the 50's. They have an arcade area for the kids, a large green space area backing onto the red river that has picnic tables and sun shelters set up. Be warned though... on sunny days Half Moon can get very busy.

  Good decor, reasonable prices. Nice burgers, nothing special. Bland hot dogs and I'd even say to the point of rip off. Overall a nice place with great service as long as you don't get hotdogs.

  I've been coming to Half Moon Drive-In for years. It's an absolute favorite of mine and I can highly recommend a visit when you come to Winnipeg. Classic diner food and a great array of ice creams to finish off the meal.
  The decor (inside and out) captures the 50's feel - consider getting dressed up and take a few pictures!

  This is one of the few places that goes retro 50s. How's the original tables with chrome around them red upholstery. The original "arborite" tops of the tables has been replaced with a modern plastic laminate. They usually had a sort of a marble look to them. However the food was very good hot dogs onion rings. I don't know who their supplier is for their wieners but they are delicious! Hint I ordered the chili dog that was extremely messy and I prefer VJs in Winnipeg for that. Next time I'll order a regular double dog with fried onions. Delicious!!
