In winter, beautifully groomed well treed cross country trails close to the city. Lots to choose from, both short and long well marked routes. Also some skate ski areas. Hikers and dog walkers are not looked upon kindly on the groomed trails so walkers advised observe the signs and head off to trails for hiking only, elsewhere in the park!
A very nice place to walk in and look at the tree line and everything else that's in the wilderness
