(February 20, 2019, 6:04 am)Big fan of their chicken it's not greasy, had the strips and a few different sandwiches. Wings as well are big and tasty couldn't finish 2lbs in one sitting. If you like spicy get the scorcher, it's maybe a 6-7/10 very tasty not too hot. I've been multiple times since they opened. Highly recommended.

Best fried chicken in the city!!
I shared some wings and a chicken strips but both were amazing. Perfect battering (not heavy batter but super flavorful, nice crisp) and great portions.
The wings I had were Cold Mike's Hot wings.
Cold Mike's hot sauce is made on sight and is unreal hot but great taste as well. I can handle extremely spicy a d these are up there!!
Get out now and go enjoy grub, absolutely will be back again soon. -

(November 1, 2018, 3:11 am)It’s about time Winnipeg got a new fried chicken joint. I’ve been on the hunt for good southern fried chicken and was looking for something different. Enter Magic Bird, located inside the Handsome Daughter venue Magic Bird serves up a solid menu featuring 4 spice levels and a variety of sides. I ordered up a basket of hot spicy chicken and went to town. It was delivered to our table hot and crispy and stayed that way until the last bite. The spice level could have been upped a bit since it was only a step down from “Scorching” but I was still satisfied with the taste and crunch. For a 10 piece meal I wish it would have came with a larger portion of sides but I mostly came just for the chicken on opening night. I’ll be back to check out their chicken sandwich and some of the tasty looking sides! It’s unique, open late and certainly worth checking out if you’re in the area.
