Anders Frederiksen of Fyles Frederiksen Advantage was able to explain the intricasies of having our first mortgage, planning and building a house. He walked us through the process with our wishlist and budget in mind. He outlined the timeline, what needs to be decided first/can be decided later, when does the bank's, builder's and the lawyers' roles come in to play and what to expect next. He worked closely with our builder to customize our home for our need. The current house design didn't match our needs and our budget. Anders was able to dug up a previous house design tweeked it a little bit to fit our need and (also!) fits our budget. He understands the current provincial building code and is able to point out additions beyond the standard by our builder. He is also honest and points out some not so worth to upgrade and what upgrades should be higher up the list. He alotted more than enough time for meetings and is so accomodating with our not so flexible schedule. He even coordinated with us during his vacation which was truly appreciated. He remained helpful throughout without a hint of pressure on us to "Buy this now!" Working with Anders is so stress free; it didn't matter that my wife and I are buying-building our first home. As a first time home buyer Anders is a God send.

Anders is very extraordinary. He has tended to everything that I asked of him with extreme detail and very prompt, as well. Well dressed, presentable and very knowledgeable of what he is doing - as it runs in the family. He goes the extra mile when he deals with his clients/customers, an example of this is he sold me my house couple of years ago and even if I have any questions now he would still be accommodating. Overall very happy with my first time home buying experience and would continue to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new/used house.
