  Our daughter attended Richmond Montessori School for two and half years. Our experience with the school, curriculum, and staff has simply been outstanding. The curriculum they run is superb. Before our daughter started Kindergarten, she was already reading level 3 books and doing math. What is impressive is that all the learning is carried out in a way that children enjoy. Children learn to work in teams and to be respectful to each other. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly, every morning when we left our daughter at school, we were absolutely certain that she would get the best care possible. This is the most satisfying thing one can get from a childcare facility for their young children. I would recommend RMS to everyone out there looking for a childcare facility for their child.

  We have tried many daycares/Montessori schools since moving to Winnipeg. RMS has without a doubt the best educational program I've seen so far. The teachers work with the kids to teach them reading, writing, and math. Our kids all graduated from the program and came to kindergarten very well prepared.

  I had both my kids there since they were 2 years old, and they had a wonderful experience. It's their second home. They loved it so much. We still visit the school time to time.

  Please consider this overwhelming endorsement for Asha Edirisinghe, as an exceptional & gifted Montessorian, as well as someone with the nature and temperament to nurture children in a variety of settings.
  Asha taught our daughter in a Montessori classroom setting at Richmond Montessori School (RMS) for almost two years.
  RMS as a Montessori and Asha as a teacher cannot be understated. I have seen first-hand how the teacher’s patience with children with different personalities - created a classroom where peace and learning flourished. Their style of interaction with children (and their parents!) is one that is very practical and respectful. It was a pleasure to be a parent in many classroom activities that we attended.
  My wife and I were pleased to see our daughter transition to the prestigious Balmoral Hall School for girls with ease. This is all thanks to the fundamentals of math and reading at RMS, which ensured that my daughter got solid exposure to these things - and in some cases an education in many things beyond their "grade” level.
  My daughter started reading fluently during her JK days at RMS and is adjudged a few kids who can read well with proper pronunciation in her class at BH. She was also chosen to be the emcee during the JK & BH beginners winter concert at Balmoral Hall School in 2018.
  RMS’ emphasis on the environment and consensus building have led the children to be more responsible in terms of how their actions impact themselves, their family, those around them, and the world at large.
  We are proud of our daughter’s early academic foundation and thank Asha Edirisinghe and her RMS team.

  Amazing school with one is the best and attentive staff in the city. Both is sons went to this school and we've seen tremendous improvement in their behavior, learning skills, independence and most important - thru lived going there!
