I appreciate how intentional Katie and Colin are about their farm, their animals, and their role in the larger food system - as farmers, storytellers, collaborators, and community members.

(April 28, 2023, 2:12 pm)I grew up in Poland and still remember eating bacon so delicious it never quite made its way to the pan; delicious, melt in your mouth goodness eaten raw. I’ve been on a search here in Manitoba for the bacon of my childhood. Bought from various local vendors only to be disappointed: too cured, way too salty etc etc. Then I found Dogs Run bacon at their stand, at Seedy Saturday, of all places. My search is over. Oh the bacon!!! Chorizo is fantastic too so now will try everything they offer and signed up for their pasture chickens too. Unadulterated, full of heavenly flavour food. When it’s this good you saver every bite. I have no connection to these folks or this business. I rarely bother with reviews but Dogs Run deserves my time and every accolade.

(April 20, 2023, 10:26 pm)Our family have purchased pork packs from Katie & Colin as well as soap and lamb and we are always thrilled with their products. Best pork chops around, in my opinion! We are die-hard soap fans - the selection is wonderful and Katie is so creative and thoughtful with the varieties she makes and magically, they don’t turn to mush in the soap dish like literally every other type of soap I’ve ever used!
Katie & Colin are knowledgeable, respectable and accommodating and we will continue to support them however we can. -

The food was incredible, the soap was so beautiful I had a hard time using it - but when I did it was fantastic. But even more so - I appreciate the hard work and dedication to land and animal management. This is the kind of transparency and traceability that we need more of in our food systems! Thanks for all you do!

We have bought lamb and pork from these fine folks and the quality is excellent!!!
You don’t just find an incredible farm to buy your meat and eggs from you also find truly good humans.
