(August 14, 2023, 8:57 pm)A group of 6 of us pulled in here for lunch on a Thursday around noon. By 12:30, there wasn't an empty seat to be found. People know the food is good here. The Reuben sandwich was noted to be not very messy. Fries were tasty and homemade. They were of the fatter size and medium-soft texture, great with vinegar. Onion rings were delicious. As was the cheeseburger. It was a pretty straightforward burger, the patty was tasty, the lettuce on the bottom was a little different. I'd probably get a double next time. The veggie sandwich was "exactly the same as my grandparents make" according to one member of our troupe, basically just a few veggies and a slice of cheese on a bun. The only two people working while we were there was a friendly older couple, she on the grill, he handling the tables. If you are in the area and looking for something homemade and very reasonably priced, this is your spot.

(June 2, 2023, 4:50 pm)Restaurant was really busy when we arrived. So we waited a bit for service and food. Service was sweet, and humble. Food was worth waiting for. I'll be dreaming of it all week. My coworkers and I left extremely happy. The employees once they weren't busy were very attentive with us. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be going back!

(June 3, 2022, 10:23 pm)We were traveling through Cartwright and stopped by for lunch. We ordered Fried Cod and fresh french fries, a Ruben sandwich with a great cup of Lasagna Soup. We also bought bread and cinnamon buns that were home made in their bakery nextdoor. Great friendly service from the owners, we'll be back next time we're in the area
