(October 11, 2023, 3:42 am)I travel for work (The Travelling Hygienist, mobile dental care) and I am always in small towns, and very often disappointed by the available stays.
Cariboo Lodge has blown me out of the water! The rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean-- absolutely pristine. They're definitely low on staff, but the food at the attached restaurant was surprisingly good and the history of the lodge and Clinton is strewn throughout the building.
This is not a 2-star hotel, this is at least a 3-star. They are thoroughly renovated with excellent heating/cooling, water pressure, and again, the CLEANLINESS was superb.
I will always be staying here when in the area. Nothing compares. -

My one son loved his lasagna - it had so much sauce - and my other son loved his pulled pork sandwich and crispy fries. Our server Leah was really friendly and on top of everything: she was serving everyone and looking after the front desk too!

(August 23, 2023, 8:31 pm)We stayed here for a night. The lodge has a really good vibe, the receptionist was so kind. Our room was quiet big (2 queen beds for 2 people) and it was clean. The have a restaurant and a pub. We tried their breakfast (big portions) and it was decent.
