(July 6, 2021, 9:25 pm)We paddled beautiful Kentucky Lake and stopped for a swim in a shallow area. The footing is squishy everywhere and is fun to wiggle your toes in! It only sinks a bit. Note there are only six day use parking spots, so if it's busy, you'll have to park at the extra lot on the road up top, and walk down. There is a turnaround by the launch area where you can drop your craft off before parking.

(June 19, 2021, 11:43 pm)Beautiful location. A bit of a windy spot, though. And could've done without the gas weed eater for two hours in the morning. Will definitely be going back here though. Great hiking trails. Beautiful water and scenery. Birds singing constantly.
