Wonderful cottage right by the beach! Beautiful views, nearby hikes, and had a lovely campfire on the beach. The owners were super nice and very accomdating. Highly recommend a stay here at Konrad Cottages :)

Offers great value for the money you spend. My family really enjoyed the cottage. We spent the days walking on the b act with our 18 month old. At night we barbecued our meals and enjoyed the living room. The owner is very responsive and helpful as well.

While not fancy, the beach cottage was homey, clean, and comfortable. As seniors, we really appreciated the grab rails in bathroom and bedroom, the excellent lighting in every room (we've taken to travelling with lightbulbs as so few places have enough light to read by!), and the easy beach access. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen (sharp knives, good pots of various sizes, every kitchen item you could need other than a dishwasher), the plentiful towels, excellent mattresses, and very comfortable choices of seating inside and out. Games, books, puzzles, media and wifi provide lots to do even if it rains. Great place for families with kids as well as for us older folks.
There are clearly some things that need work (Ray's winter projects, no doubt!) like blinds that need replacing, peeling wallpaper in a few places, and some trim/paint to touch up. And the website needs to be updated to reflect the place more accurately - we didn't see a 'truly sandy beach' other than a couple of small sandbars at low tide (the rest was rock), nor was there a welcome basket . A more accurate description of this place would be a vacation cottage rental with the owner living on the same property, rather than a B&B - fine with us, but perhaps not for those who take the website info at face value. Not sure if the spa etc. mentioned on the website is available - no sign of it, but we didn't ask.
I'd describe this as a nostalgic trip back to a 1950s family cottage at the beach, and that was perfect for us. We even saw whales in the bay, and the sunsets were outstanding.
