Smitty's Oyster House

Great place to share platters of food with a group, it just try out the dishes. Delicious seafood and drinks to match. A casual place you can get your hands dirty. Service was also great, ate at the bar which allowed us to see the drinks being made and the oysters being prepared. Great experience, and great food, tried the salmon cakes, line chilly prawns and the "chicken" fried rainbow trout. Just yum. Finished off with lime coconut strudel.

We stopped by for a couple of hours at Gibsons for lunch and came to Smitty's. This was three years ago and I still dream about the oysters I had. Biggest raw oysters ever and they were so fresh and delicious. I am salivating just thinking about it. Crab cakes were awesome as well. Waiting for the day where I can cone visit again!

We stayed on the Coast for a week this summer and ate out every day and Smitty's was by far our favorite place! We went back twice. The staff, especially the bar tenders were funny, kind, and efficient with service and menu advice. Get the Crab Bucket! This place is high energy with a fun vibe and an amazing menu. Also great interior and exterior seating and decor.

Coolest place! Amazing chicken wings and the oysters were unbelievably fresh and tasty. Great staff and a cool vibe! Right on the docks, don’t miss this gem!

The exact place you want to go for seafood and great local atmosphere. All staff were awesome and helped us in trying oysters for the first time.

As someone who typically dislikes seafood I would not have gone here if not brought by others but I was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh the seafood was.

Chicken wings with hot sauce were also among the best I have had which you wouldn’t expect from a Oyster House.

Good selection of locals beers as well. All three that I tried were ones I would order again. Will definitely go back here.
