(August 24, 2020, 6:52 am)Favorite place to go up to as a kid. So close to the village and ski slopes. Also a lovely lake to jump in and small rock to climb that's a 1min walk from the lodge.

(December 3, 2019, 4:06 pm)Members stay for $25/night. Tyrol Lodge has trial memberships for 90 days so you can try it and then decide if you want to become a member. I joined a year a ago, and really staying here. The people are friendly, the rooms are spartan but comfortable. The common areas of the lodge are well kept and spacious. It's easy to make friends. I feel like I'm part of the community. This place has heart, history and humanity, which isn't easy to find in Whistler.

(August 15, 2019, 10:36 pm)Tyrol Lodge id a simple lodging place that has a full kitchen. It is a great place to stay for a few days while enjoying hiking at Whistler area. Even though there is only one lady's shower stall, that didn't cause any inconvenience and when the men finished their turn, ladies can have their men guarding the door so to use the shower in men's. We definitely will go back there again.

(June 22, 2018, 4:28 am)It's a hidden away European style lodge, large common areas with gang bathrooms. The kitchen is divided into 4 work stations kind like a hostel but lots of room, each kitchen also has its own fridge. The rooms are cozy with a mixture of bunk beds of different sizes. As a warning there are lots of stairs and traveling to the bathroom, for all but one block of rooms requires traversing at least one set. There is a train that rumbles by gently once a day usually, good access to whistler from the lodge as well. If your coming on motor cycle in the summer the driveway is steep and gravel so you'll need to be very careful. I would happily stay here again though
