(February 17, 2021, 4:25 pm)The best French Bistro on the West Coast. We love the vibe of this restaurant. The food and service is soooo good. The Duck Spring Roll is a must, the chuck flat and the bouillabaisse as well. Make sure to keep room for dessert as the chocolate lava cake is to die for.

(January 12, 2021, 7:19 am)I have dined at some of the most prestigious restaurants around the world and even some of those pale in comparison to Red Door. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the food here is some of the best I’ve ever had. Great ambience, friendly service and consistently amazing food... what more can you ask for? Their bouillabaisse and mushroom risotto are our favourites, and their desserts are to die for. Keep an eye out for their seasonal specials as they are amazing as well. Ask your server for some good wine recommendations that pair excellently with your food. It’s a joy to sit at the bar and watch the chef work, or to sit at one of their booths for a more intimate setting. The restaurant is small, so make sure to call weeks/months in advance to book your table. It’s well worth it!

(November 21, 2020, 12:45 am)WOW, we had THE most spectacular service and food experience at Red Door Bistro this fall. Rosie... was amazing, he was always there, yet invisible, chatty and interesting, a true professional. The food was over the top amazing, the duck confit spring rolls, out of this world. My wife had the duck breast, it was scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I cried after my west coast bouillabaisse. I have never had mussels that tender and soft without any chewiness of any sort. We had a spectacular bottle of wine and a truly amazing time. Thank you, we will be back!
