Affordable, well maintained and with rentals on-site.
Trails well marked.
Bathrooms located close to entrance, and well maintained.
It was my first time snowshoeing and while it wasn’t the easiest trail, (not for everyone), it was manageable and I strongly recommend it for people that don’t mind a little challenge.
We went mid-January, the day was glorious and there weren’t a lot of people.
It was a good drive from Vancouver (1hr47mins) with great road conditions.
***IT IS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED TO DRIVE WITH SNOW TIRES (OR ALL SEASON TIRES***
Cost was relatively cheap when you factor in everything. At the time (Jan 2021) entrance tickets were $34.50CAD for two of us. Snowshoe rentals were $44.80CAD for two of us.
As it was our first time, we did one of the shortest trails (Alexander Falls Explorer Trail). It took us about 2-2.5hrs return. We went slow and stopped along the way for some photos and to take it all in.
