(July 13, 2018, 6:53 pm)I didn't hike this trail (went west up Ashlu Valley instead) but I can describe the trailhead. It's 3.5km from the paved road on a 2WD gravel road. There's a locked gate just before the bridge close to the trailhead with room to park a half dozen cars.
