We go here for summer vacation every year with family! Very quiet place to enjoy nature and not overcrowded. We get to enjoy swimming at the dock most of the times we get the place by ourselves. The rooms are all clean, and the chalets are very spacious for the whole family.

Quiet, cozy, homey place to come back to every night after enjoying the trails, zodiac ride to Desolation Sound and more! Steps away from one of the best places to eat in the area, The Laughing Oyster!

The location was great and the cabins all appeared to be very well maintained. We were originally booked into an ocean overlooking chalet but guests were booked into the lower unit. We were kindly moved to Chalet 2 so that our young daughter could be a “kid” without causing a disturbance to other guests. Needless to say Chalet 2 was clean, spacious, and quiet. The Lund-Powell River is my favourite in BC, and we would definitely return to this resort.

My experience was almost perfect. I stayed in 4a and the only downfall was the bed. My partner and I both had sore backs from that bed. It felt like I was sleeping on concrete. Maybe concrete would be more comfortable.

It would be nice if the front desk agents were in the office more so guests could ask questions when they wanted to. We waited to chack in 40 min because no one was there, even with using the side phone which just rang in the office.

I would come back in a heart beat if there was a better bed.

The location is 5-star, staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, cabin accommodations are side-by-side in many units, or over and under so you don't get complete unit privacy in each unit. Some units are totally private, some are great for families or couples sharing.

The property has no on-site store or provisions so you need to drive to Lund about 10 minutes away to stock up. The new management and owners are trying hard but the property needs an arrangement for sports equipment such as kayaks, mountain bikes, on site for guest access so you don't have to go off property.

However, the views are stunning.... and, I have come here multiple visits but there is room for growth and improvement.
