(August 29, 2023, 5:19 am)I have been to the Coastal Cookery many times and have been thoroughly impressed by each dish. I feel as though there is something on the menu for everyone including multiple yummy vegetarian options. No matter what I have ordered it has always been delicious and flavorful. I would highly recommend the BBQ Chicken Bites Appetizer with the Parmesan Dip. The staff has always been friendly and the place has a lively feel. If you do not like a noisy environment, I would recommend coming on a weekday as it can be a bit loud on the weekends. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants I have ever been too and I would recommend it to anyone!

(August 23, 2023, 9:28 pm)If you are in Powell River, GO HERE! The food is so fresh calling this place a pub doesn't do it justice. Fun cocktails menu, daily features, happy hour. Fantastic views from their patio. But best of all us the service. Staff here are incredible, we interacted with about 5 different staff, all outgoing kind fun warm welcoming. Special shout out to Anneli, we were coming from a LONG day of hikes and driving. She was an immediate energy burst, so accommodating and attentive, social without ever feeling obtrusive. She is the definition of a perfect server (/human). Thank you!

(August 18, 2023, 5:10 am)Stopped in for Happy Hour and we ended up getting Appy's and a main plus a few drinks. House white right now is from Fitzpatrick in the Okanagan which was good. For Appy's we got the Poutine and BBQ Chicken bites that had a bit of a Korean Gojijan flavour which we enjoyed. We also got a Smash burger which was excellent and the Cod burger was fantastic, nice size piece of fish! Also tried the root beer in a bottle that was sooooo good.
Our server was fantastic and so nice. -

Located at the end of the road Powell River this lovely feel good room with views of the water serves up a plentiful menu. Mussels and Ling cod. Try the rigatoni with local mushrooms. For those foodies this restaurant will impress.
I was especially impressed with our server and wait staff as we had quite a large party with some nuances and they were able to accommodate .
