E'Laysa Guesthouse and Vineyard Retreat

We loved our stay at E'Laysa, everything was fabulous! Our room was super comfortable, the breakfasts were so delicious and beautifully presented, the property was lovely and it was just a pleasure to be there. We look forward to staying here again our next visit to beautiful Penticton. Thanks Neil and Silke!

I truly do not know where to even begin. My husband and I got married here on July 7th and we stayed for the weekend with our family and wedding party. We actually feel as if Neil & Silke are like family now too. I cannot even comprehend how phenomenal the two of them and the property are.

First off their communication leading up to the weekend was prompt, professional and so kind. We already felt like we knew them going into the weekend. Check in was very organized and they even let us on site early to start setting up. Since we rented out the entire property; Silke and Neil said to just treat it as if it was our own home. Us and our family have never felt so welcome. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. They were quick to help with anything they could and always looking for ways to improve all of our experiences! They were very present throughout the weekend and were prompt with any requests we had.

As for the property; do yourself a favour and stay at least a few nights here. It is 10 acres of just pure beauty and peace. The lookout is where we had our ceremony and EVERYONE is still raving about how gorgeous the views were. You can see almost the entire Naramata bench and Okanagan lake from the viewpoint. It is breathtaking. The rest of the property is much of the same; just greenery, flowers and beauty everywhere.

The food- okay now we had a lot of people to feed and some very hungry men. The day of the wedding Silke cooked waffles and fruit. Sounds ordinary right? WRONG. These were the best waffles any of us had ever had. They were light and fluffy but still a little crispy on the outside? Magic I tell ya. She also makes fresh whipped cream that I could have just eaten out a of bowl (To which she actually offered but had to still get the dress on haha) We had eggs Benedict the following morning and that was surely fitting. Just amazing as well and the perfect way to end a perfect weekend. I should add in that I was STARVING about an hour after dinner was over at the wedding (too busy to eat enough) and Silke took time to make me a grilled sandwich... as I said; they just go above and beyond to make you feel like family.

So I know this was long but it was absolutely worth it. I cannot thank you both enough for being a part of the best weekend of our lives and for making us feel like we were at home the entire time. HIGHLY recommend everyone to make a trip here at least once and you will also see how amazing the property and Neil & Silke are. We cannot wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay. The room was amazing, the property was beautiful with a beautiful overlook of the vineyards, orchards, and the lake. The owners were very polite, courteous and a pleasure to be around. I would definitely stay here again it was a true gem.
