Very well kept and clean RV resport. Large old growth trees, new picnic tables on concrete pads, level sites. We stayed at the lower park which is closest to the lake. The lake has about 150m of sandy maintained beach, the water is clear and cool. There is swimming platform. The lake is small. The resort is at the foot of a massive rock face and we saw mountain sheep daily. Free showers although there are coin mechanisms installed. The shower house is very well maintained and clean, bright light fixtures. There are also fun little cabins to rent with swings on the porch. The only thing I found annoying was that the sewer hookups were angled into the ground and difficult to connect to. The playground is a bit sparce. The resort has a small store and common room which was on par with similar places. But just cannot beat the view.

Stayed here as a dog-owner and one of the few with a tent. Campsite is great, clean, and pretty decent. We stayed in the upper campsite - the only place where dogs are allowed.

Can’t say i enjoyed only having my dog in the upper campsite. It was pretty restricting because we couldn’t enjoy the lake as we had to worry about leaving our small dog behind; however, they do have a small enclosed pet area where you can let your dog run around and burn off some energy off-leash. Oh yes, dogs have to be on-leash at all times in the campgrounds (which is reasonable). You also can’t take your dog to the lower campsite area, which was another bummer because we had family staying in the lower campsite but we couldn’t hang around with our dog there.

If you’re camping with a tent there, be prepared to have neighbours with huge RVs and trailers. Bring some cushion for your tent because the ground is gravel. The campsites are pretty small and narrow; so compressed that you wonder how people have parked their trailers. Campsite has water and electricity; way-finding was tricky because the site numbers are small and located on the electrical/plumbing post.

The shared bathrooms are usually not busy. The upper campsite bathroom is also much cleaner than the lower campsite one. You pay a dollar to have a decent shower. There are also some private, air-conditioned bathrooms at the reception area.

Some staff are friendly and helpful..I encountered one who didn’t seem like he was eager to help me. Booking via phone was kind of a pain. I hope they utilize online booking soon...that would really up your game compared to other camp resorts!

Overall i think they could lift some restrictions regarding dogs...we had to go to another beach to have our dog with us and let him cool off in the water.

I love this place. It's such a serene environment with diverse noises at night and day. In the day you hear kids playing, and birds chirping. At night, you hear the sounds of crickets and nothing else. The night sky is truly beautiful, you can usually see the milky way arm with the naked eye. Great lake too, there's always people there and everyone is friendly. We have been coming here for 10 years.

TL:DR - You must come here. Great staff, great community, great place.

Great staff. Always helpful. Sites used to be raked and level . Now there seems to be different sized rocks mixed in making it difficult to walk on. Other than that great place for families.

Excellent family oriented campground. One of the best things about this campground is the "no music" rule. You can have quiet music playing at your site but not in public places. Makes for a peaceful experience.
