(November 6, 2020, 7:13 pm)We visited Black Hills with 2 of our friends who were new to BH earlier this week. We were welcomed on our arrival and seated right away. We were served by Jess who told us she had only been there a few months. She was amazing. Her knowledge was excellent as we worked through the wines. The wines were great as usual and our friends really enjoyed the tasting. And are now fans of Black Hills as well.

The tasting was lead by someone extremely knowledgeable not only about Black Hills Wines but wine in general, including the history of some of the varietals. She encouraged us to compare different vintages and winemakers, and made suggestions for pairings.Our group was impressed. We also stayed at the Black Hills Lodge (we thought is should be called a "villa" like the ones in Italy), available to members only. It was an perfect base for our days in the area ranging from Osoyoos to Okanagan Falls with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a pool/patio for lazy afternoons.

(August 22, 2020, 12:47 pm)Unbelievable wine! But the ambience and setting is like a very chill and classy Vegas pool party. There are a few cabanas outside surrounding the pool to sit and sip your wine. Only wish it also included a bathing suit to jump in to cool off!
Service was great - and the food is unreal. Also helped push the wine tasting a little further so you didn’t leave stumbling.
Highly recommend!
