Our soul reconnects to truth if we have lost it. Haynes Point just off Hwy 97 en route to US border is a great place to enjoy the outdoors for a leisurely stroll. Children ride freely and here in Osoyoos the Owl and Quail serenade you. A day picnic in one of many private well groomed spots, a beach for your pet with fire pits to grill if conditions permit. A close walk from Safari Beach and Lakeside motels. Wear good shoes.take a snack, water. Good facilities and change houses. A simple health giving family outing. Thanks OIB - Osoyoos Indian Band. (January 16, 2021, 2:36 am)This park has become a great new place to take our dogs for a nice walk along the lake. The views here are beautiful in every direction and there is a crazy amount of lake shoreline to enjoy.

(September 2, 2020, 6:38 pm)Nice spot, close to town but feels miles away. Sites are private and on the water. Very well maintained. Unfortunately, a large patch of Poison Ivy near the path with signs to indicate. The down side is that if a young child or someone that did not read English saw the signs, they could still find themselves in trouble.

(August 19, 2020, 5:32 am)If you camp on the west side there is a constant breeze and they sites are a nice size. The middle sites are terrible. No breeze, and near the bathrooms and septic. The East sides are okay as the water and Beach is better then the west side. It's okay but I wouldn't do it again unless I can get a site on the west side. Too hot without a breeze.
