Deb is a kind, down-to earth and highly-intelligent person I trust more than any other service-oriented businesses I hire via my small business.Her attention to detail and going the extra mile for a reasonable price really sets her apart from fly-by-night tuners who simply can't compete for service, value and trustworthiness. (She's also so much more fun to talk to because she is a wealth of information!)
Being from a family of piano tuners (the woman has tone and pitch in her blood) she is adept in both traditional and modern techniques to bring the best out of your instrument. She takes in frequent training courses, goes out of her way to see a happy customer and will never suggest work be done that is not necessary or wanted by the customer.
Deb even helped me buy two of my pianos, and organized affordable moving services to boot! She made no profit from these transactions and did it simply for the love of her work and respect for her customers.
Really, if you are letting a person with a heavy hammer and some piano wire into your home, don't hire just anyone! Make sure it's Deborah McCann! -

My interactions with her have always been great and I know that the piano will sound wonderful when she is done with it. She's not afraid to go the distance geographically, either, good weather OR bad, to make sure your instrument is tweaked to your satisfaction. Oh, by the way, she is awesomely pet-friendly :-)
