  Beautiful wide open bright campground with fantastic lake and mountain views. Big sky at night great for viewing all sorts of celestial phenomenon. Large easy to access campsites with great lake and sky views..
  
  Well run and kept clean. Good washrooms. The highway is high on the hillside and wraps around the campground. Plenty of road noise 24/7 but not as loud as other parks in the OK.
  
  Well worth a look at this park.

  Great place for a winter walk. The park entrance gate has been left open for the past few years providing access to the park trails. For those wanting a longer walk the newly created Rail Trail follows the shoreline. Heading north back towards Vernon the Rail Trail Cafe offers a chance for a coffee or lunch break to recharge for the walk back.
