I first met Shelagh when she was the manager of another dive shop in Nanaimo, BC. Over the 9 years I have known her, I have watched Shelagh go from start up to successful business owner in a very competitive market.

Shelagh and her husband Ray are both knowledgeable and extremely personable people. They stock the most reliable products and their prices are very competitive. Key for me is that they stay abreast of all the latest trends, stock tried and tested products, and provide exceptional service. In fact, Shelagh has been nominated for excellence in service in local business awards. If they don't stock a certain product, Shelagh and Ray are always willing to source it, and they stand by everything they sell. Worth mentioning too is their showroom with adjoining facility that is always immaculate and well organized.

Shelagh and Ray are credible and ethical business owners who support their community, and I would recommend them for courses, products and all round knowledge. Once you do business with them, you become not only a friend but a member of a really good community.

My wife and I took our open water course, advanced course followed recently with the Nitrox course all with Sink or Swim Scuba. From day one, they have gone above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable. The owners Ray and Shelagh Richer are very knowledgeable and take pride in their shop, and it shows in everything they do. They have drop in dives every week with awesome dive masters that help you if you're new to that area or aren't sure about it. The shop has a great selection of gear and accessories and even their rental gear is in fantastic shape, as they change it every year.
