Would recommend the boatyard to anyone.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Spent a week in the yard.
Everything went off without a hitch.

(August 20, 2020, 4:33 am)I've been getting hauled here for six years now. Great staff and service, but it's not cheap. Everything is done first class, which I like, but if you're looking for low cost, I've heard Newcastle next door is cheaper. Stones have a full chandlerly, so if you're missing something you trot into the store and they put it on your bill.

(June 29, 2020, 10:46 pm)We received exceptional service today from Rob Steele, Manager and Catherine in the office. Despite Rob’s very busy workload and a huge backlog, he offered to meet us on the service dock and try to help us out. He crawled into the engine compartment and with a skilled diagnosis and 1/2 hour of his time sorted out our engine issues and saved our holiday ! When we asked to compensate him for his expertise and time, he said not to worry. This kind and generous gesture was over the top and really appreciated, to say the least ! Thanks again :-)

(May 27, 2020, 5:47 pm)Had an emergency haul out on a Sunday, they had me out within an hr and possibly saved my boat from sinking. Very professional staff, with different specialties, Repairs were done right and we were on our way in a short time. Rates were fair for work done, haul out was one of the least expensive, with flat rate hull cleaning we really got our $$ worth.
Highly recommend if your in the Nanaimo area. Thanks Stones!
