We stayed here one night on our trip to the island. It is such a beautiful spot, the camp host was super friendly and it was nice and quiet. It is important to remember there is only one treated water faucet but it is conveniently located where you check in, so don’t forget to fill up your water jug then. Looking forward to booking a trip back.

Super peaceful and beautiful place to visit. The lake is pristine. The campground seems a very nice one. It is a dry campground which means other than only one faucet in front of the office/store there is no access to water whatsoever. There are only pit toilets available.
Kayak and canoe rentals are available. The staff are friendly.

What an absolutely gorgeous and well kept campground. I only stayed one night but was accommodated as a walk in for a tent spot on a long weekend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The other guests also seemed to appreciate the surroundings and were quiet and respectful. This is a spot for true nature lovers. The road down is a bit rugged but I made it just fine in my little car.

absolutely gorgeous lake for kayaking! i got a waterfront site. staff are lovely, happy and take great care of sites. i was surprised, they rake them and even tidy the fire pits, taking old ash and charred coals away. bathrooms are pit toilets which are standard for camping but very well-cleaned. I am definitely coming back here!

Great spot! Road turns to dirt for about 12 km but the lake and area is fantastic!!! Lots to do on the lake with the canoe and kayak rentals, hiking and of course the caves! The campground itself is child friendly but a warning that your kid has to be 5 to go into the caves. All of the sites seem to be on lake front and each one that I saw was very spacious. No running water or electricity...leave those devices at home and kick back and relax! The registration office seemed to have all of the thing you may leave behind at home which was nice! Go check this place out, another Vancouver Island gem. 4 stars!
